Oil level advice/consult, please....

The computer reads 1 click under full....using the key before starting method...The oil is so clean on the dipstick that it's hard to tell the level...but it's def. above the low mark....just changed around 1,500 miles ago.....some white smoke when starting - just a quick "puff", usually.....

Oil pressure when warm at approx. 3000RPM is usually between 4 and 5....

All good????

Some of these threads have me WAY paranoid!!!!!!!

Thanks in advance....my brother received the gearhead genes!!!!!

My oil pressure goes to half at red lights with clutch depressed, is that normal too?
I do burn oil, I put a quart in the other day, I bought the car used and do not know when the PO's last oil change was? I am scheduled for one next week

Yes this is normal in my experiences with a P-car once the car is up to temperature which usually takes 10-15 minutes of driving in summer temps. I would change the oil ASAP if it looks at all discolored ( dark brown or black) as a precaution of not knowing when the PO did the past oil change along with the filter.

Any car will have a reduced oil pressure reading at idle vs. normal driving RPMs'.

ENjoy your car!!
