GT3 Wheels

Are the 996 GT3 wheels available in Black or White? So far have only been able to find them in OE Silver finish, Is this the norm and then people have them painted?

I am currently looking for a set, anybody have a set for sale at a good price, minor cosmetic blemishes OK, or steer me in the right direction to source these.

Thanks, David

P.S. I know there is a set listed in the classifieds for 2700, but don't want to spend that much, and would rather a set without rubber to keep shipping costs down.

bentlink is infamous around these parts
You could try Wheel Dynamics. They have an ad in "Purely 911" magazine and their website has decent prices... and various colors:

I have no experience with them (or affiliation), but I bookmarked them because I would like some red GT3 wheels myself!

Cheers, Duane

Thanks guys, Checked out the site 1499 for a set in silver, will have to see how much paint is? Anyone here have any experience with quality/fitment of these wheels coming from Wheel Dynamics.

I will have to do a search but recall reading a post last week from another memeber who bought some replica wheels which were advertised as "made in Italy" but came stamped "made in China", he also had fitment issues with them.

Those wheels were from a generic buyer on ebay...Wheel Dynamics has been around and everyone seems happy with the product. Being replicas generally the wheels are heavier than the GT3 wheels meaning there may be no performance improvement, and in some cases they may weigh MORE than your stock wheels meaning your car will accelerate, brake, and turn slower than stock...but with pretty wheels....lol...

Thumbs up GT3 wheels

I've used Wheel Dynamics in the past and the owner Carlos is knows his products very well. My wheels are cast "made in Italy" on the spokes in the same fashion Germany was cast on my Porsche wheels. He sent Porsche lugs with the wheels and they were sent in heavy boxes well protected. His products are far superior to those of Eurowheels in Arizona. They are the ones that sold wheels advertised as made in Italy, but were actually stamped "made in China" to a fellow 6speeder..

Thanks for clearing that up, this is most likely the retailer I will use if I can't source a pre owned set at a better price.

Kind Regards, David
