This rebuild place you speak of...who is it? I'm trying to gather information for anyone else that has to go through this.
Shipping the car will run you about $1500 and shipping just the engine will run you $1000.

Yeah the project would have been fun but at the end of the day any swap would have been an additional $5k+ due to core charges and labor

Yeah I forget the name of the place, I'll check back. Interesting project but a lot of time and probably near the same costs, but you will get a better built engine with more power. It would just be interesting, haven't heard of anyone doing it on here.

A new engine sounds so much better to me, whether that's rebuilt or reman, instead of a SC. I got a price back for the SC - seems the "sale" price is $9175 includes shipping. I pay more for install. What a rip!!! I'll put an engine in first!!

If I remember correctly about $30k. And they wont accept the M96 engine as a core, so you have to buy a complete engine, no core.....A whole different ball game....
