Hello all!

I just picked up a 04' C4S Cab and am interested in lowering it w/ H&R springs. Does anyone here have this setup? If so, can you post a picture? I am curious to see if the 1" lowering is enough.

Thanks a Bunch!

Do a search on this topic. Most people agree that springs alone will compromise ride quality. You will need to install a matched shock. Most of us here have gone with adjustable coilovers. The most popular system being the Bilstein PSS9. This allows you to set the height you want from stock down to 3" drop. As well as the stiffness of the shocks. This will let you lower the car but maintain the stock ride quality, or in some cases make it better. I have this system and love it. Much better than my springs only system on my Boxster.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply newport996. I was just in Laguna today for the art festival and saw dozens of Carreras around. Carreras in that area are as plentiful as Honda Accords in San Gabriel. It really blew me away. Anyways, i'm assuming Lucent is the best place to go for the PSS9s? If anyone knows, how much I should expect to spend all together.

Thanks in Advance!

I think you saw dozens of Carreras around because we had our 6speed dinner today at Flemmings after meeting in Laguna.

Do the X73 setup from Gert at Carnewal made by Porsche, DO NOT just do springs.
