Oil separator question...coolant leak

Hey guys lately I've been getting a few drops of coolant leaking from my car. I looked up underneath and see that the oil separator looks soaked and it appears to be coming from it (see pic). I don't see any coolant leaking when the car is running so I'm guessing it is burning off before it reaches the floor. I don't know if this is sensible so:

Does coolant run through this part?

Is it odd that I only see coolant and no oil leaking?

TIA

-Damian

yes, coolant runs through to cool the gas. It is the located at the top connected with 2 small rubber hoses (coolant line). In fact, from your picture... one of the coolant hose seems to be not fitted all the way through (but I may be wrong), its possible that it leaking there.
