Wheel fitment?

Hey everyone,

I have a set of 18" wheels that are on my 2000 Porsche Carrera 996 narrowbody. I believe the wheel size in the front is 18X9 and the rears are 18X10.5. The offset for the front wheels is ET40 and the rear offset is ET47. I have someone with a 2001 Porsche Carrera 4S interested in the wheels. I am running the same tires size as him which is 235 in the front and 295 in the rear. Does anybody know if these wheels will fit his car. Thanks for all the help in advance!!!!

Those offsets don't sound right for a NB car- Those sound like boxster or WB offsets.

Are these factory wheels?

No, they are Gemballa wheels. So do you think they will fit the c4S?

Ah- Gemballa tends to do their own thing with fitment. I'm sure they will fit, but you might need to use spacers to bring the wheels outward. How much spacing I'm not sure.
H&R spacers are the best, you can find them along with matching longer bolts at www.automotion.com

Will he need spacers for all for wheels or just the rear wheels? Is there any disadvantage to running spacers? Thanks for your help, it is very appreciated.

spacers will be needed on all wheels. I would just call Gemballa USA and ask them directly- they should be able to help you out in detail. They have a store on ebay - just search for "Gemballa".
