I kept my 2000 996 cab for 4.5 years. Hoping to keep my 2004 GT3 much longer. (I know Ben is laughing at that right now...)

Not sure about you guys but I've been dream about own a 911 for 20 years. at least I'm gonna keep it for 20 years to get even. =)

Personally, I don't think there's any way to "save" to own a luxury sports car. buying any luxury sports car is like buying ice cube, they all melt fast. if you really think about save then maybe toyota will be the answer. one thing I've learn - Pcar are not build to save your wallet. hee hee

I thought my 97 Boxster was going to be with me for a LONG time. Great little car and soooo fun to drive and toss around. But the smallness of it was not convenient and when I had to go from 3 cars to 2, I decided to keep the Range Rover and get a Carrera and sell the Boxster and Lexus. So now I am very happy with my 99 C4 Cab. I plan to keep it a long time, but who knows. maybe I'll be in a Turbo frame of mind in 2 years and then we'll see what happens....

I typically keep my cars for 5+ years, so I'll probably have this one for a long time. I may just keep her and add her to my (future) collection.

I stand by what I said, I was just stating my opinion, by the way I was speaking to Neil not you Robyn.

had mine for over 3 years now, and i still love it, but i'm bored. but like i said before 2005 isn't a good year for new sports cars. nothing on the market to replace it with. maybe an STI or something. yeah right....

The next time you want to play grammar and spelling police...do yourself a favor...grab a dictionary... Oh...and make sure you have done those mouth exercises...naturally, that does depend upon the size of the foot you typically stick in it.

No problemo (now this is a word that is not in the American dictionary, just for clarification)...and I still stand by mine. However, telling anyone that they are not a true Pcar person because they don't want to keep their car out of warranty is a bit harsh. Maintenance and minor repairs are no biggy (proper use of slang here ) naturally...it's when you have to replace the engine for the fourth time that gets a bit daunting and hard on the pocket book.

I was simply inquiring about the word "firstly", but if your comment about my mouth and foot is your way of showing me that you are a neophyte with putting the smack down, then I understand.

Riiiiiight...and you simply weren't being a smart ***? Goodness, my mistake! Please do, simply accept my apology. I think you are simply back pedaling. Interesting attempt...simply stated.

Surely you jest, for I don't back pedal. If I was being a smart ***, I would of said "FIRSTLY THIS". Your mediocre attempt at playful banter is boring and dull. Relax, no one is out to get you.
