Anyone know if there is a way to tint the back window on a vinyl drop top?? After time they get pretty ugly looking i wanna freshin it up a bit any ideas??

 

I would think some kind of aerosol type deal would be better than the laminate stuff.... but I dont know how it would hold up over time... might consider having piece of vinyl that is already tinted/smoked stitched in place of the factory piece.

 

I know some guys have done the same with S2000's. From what I remember they took a piece of tint (not sure if it was the professional tint or the do it yourself kind) and trimmed it to the correct size, then stuck it to the window with nothing more than the natural static cling. From what I saw it looked fine and it also protected the inside from scratching when in the down position.

 

i don't think it would hold up...... i think the "tints" needs to be against something hard
