Has anyone done a painted center console in another color than body color? For example I was thinking how a red or other color may look with seal gray if the car had other red accents (interior and/or exterior) Any thought on this? Pictures?

 

I would go with the gray colored interior. Just my opinion, that's all. Might look cool, but if you ever decide to sell the ride, you might have to go back to the stock look. Unless the buyer loves it also?

 

stick with body color or interior color. odd colors only seem to work well when you go 'over the top' and completely trick out the car (show-car style).

 

I was thinking of painting mine Black like the interior...with an Arctic Silver exterior...anyone have any pictures of that?

 

On my black 986, I painted it silver to match the other interior trim.. it looked good enough. I think a gloss black console would look good in any color too

 

On my Lapis blue with a Savannah Beige interior I added a Alumalook rear center console and a Alumalook instrument surround. I felt the blue with the beige was a little too severe for my taste.

 

Since I have the CF wheel I think I'll wait and go for CF console. That is unless someone wants to sell me a seal gray console cheap. ;-)
