I solved the mystery on my CDR-220 not going into AUX mode. I called Becker USA. They suggested that I needed to disconnect the green plug (phone) from the back of the CDR-220. When that plug is inserted, the CDR-220 will not go into AUX mode.

 

will your unit work with a cdr-23 6612?

According to Becker that Radio does not have an Aux input becker NA sells some kind of controller for that radio to adapt it to an ipod http://www.beckerautosound.com/parts...te_supply.html
