HRE 841R or SSR GT-3? Pics request!

I now currently have a set of 19" HRE 841R on my C4S right now. I went through a lot of trouble to get these wheels because I thought I like them alot. But after having them, I found that the wheels only look good from a certain angle (mid way to rear view) and certain lighting situation. Anyway, I am thinking about selling these wheels and get a set of SSR GT-3 instead.

1.) I though the silver will match better with the silver
2.) I kind of like the five spoke better, more aggresive
3.) I don't like the look of the 841r from the front

A.) What do you guys think? which would you pick?
B.) Also does anyone have pics of SSR GT-3 on a silver C4s (please post pics!)
C.) Do you guys think the GT-3's spoke is too skinny for the C4S?

I personally think those look better than the GT3s but if you are interested, I have a set of 18" gt3's coming in that I'll trade you

Personally, I find the GT3s to be a little bit 2004 for my taste. How about TE-37s in silver?

I like your HREs though.

ssrs are a downgrade. your HREs are fine, but if i were you, i'd make sure to go with 19x12 HRE 590Rs.

I think your wheels look fine, keep them on for a while and see if you warm up to them.

No way I'd go from your HRE's to SSR's. I'd sell the 841's and get the HRE P40 in silver.

Thank you everyone for their input.

The reason why I wanted the GT-3 is because I thought they would appear to be bigger than my HRE. Right now they kind of look more like 18' than 19" in person. Also they look more aggresive to me.

Last thing is that I use to own a set of Gt-1, and the coating doesn't seem to chip as easy as the HRE. Also, the HRE collects water in the middle of the rim, and it is very hard to dry them properly after car wash.

I really like this picture of the GT-3. It belongs to one of the member here...

hre to ssr.... why, your ride looks clean... I know what you mean about the water being trapped in the barrel.......sucks. Pesonally, I would stay away from this design. Id go with a brand with motorsport history.

I had SSR GT3 on my Lexus IS300 8 years ago. Keep the HRE's, they look great.

Personally, I think the HRE 841R is the best looking wheel for a 996TT. Yours just seem to be the wrong color -- I would have gone with a darker finish for the center, like anthracite anodized or a full polish like the ones I put on my speed yellow 996TT after a brushed-finish set of 542s that seemed too dull. I got rid of my car a while back to look for a newer TT cab, and I have vacillated on selling my wheels. I finally decided to let them go, if you want to try a fully polished set. As for the water retention -- I found that if you get on the highway and for a few minutes and then come a stop, the water evaporates, and the balance is no longer an issue.
