Can anyone give me some real world experience with these seats and long term driving? I'm thinking about replacing my drivers seat with one and keeping the passenger seat for rear access. A few times a year I do a Vermont Florida trip and don't want to buy something that is painful to sit in.

Thanks!

Just keep your original seat and install it when you go to Florida.
It's like 4 nuts... cake

I did a long road trip with my sport seats this summer. They were fine. My wife was 5 months prego at the time and she didn't complain (well, not much more than normal). We did the return trip straight thru - 12 hours - and I never thought my seats were a problem. I like the GT3's, but everyday use & comfort is what keeps me from changing. On a long trip, it really helps to be able to recline your seat and change the angle. I think the GT3's have a fixed back.

The sport seats are fine unless you have broad shoulders... I don't think my back has ever touched the back of the seat.
