Trying to make everyone see things from the lens of your skewed lenses is fascist. Is racism bad? Most forms but not all. Is casting judgment on others for being racists hypocritical, most definitely.

Try worrying about what those in your world think, and not cast your hypocritical judgments on others who don't share your view as being "jackasses". To be honest, I'd rather have racism any day of the week over political correctness, because at least someone's being honest.

And if you feel a need to champion the cause of fighting racism, then do it for all colors/peoples, not just those you like, because that makes you no better than the people you hold so much disdain for.

I'm sure the "Obama Edition" comment was meant as a compliment and I misunderstood it Like I said, neither the Presidential Limo or Air Force One looks like this car. I also don't remember seeing any cars like this on campus when my sister was at Columbia nor when I visited Harvard's campus before attending college.

I also found his comment about the 911 lights looking "rice" offensive as well after I read it. I asked my SO who is half-Asian and half-White if she felt it was complimentary to Asians; I think not. I have dated women from every race, lived all over this country, traveled abroad and had/have friends and co-workers from all over the world. So in reference to my not understanding the plight of others or championing their causes, you really need to find someone else who lives in a much more myopic world to have that conversation with them. LA is probably one of the most diversified places on the planet. I have no "disdain" for any race, creed or color of people; you find jackasses and racist in every color of the rainbow and every socioeconmic class. Your pop-psych analysis leaves much to be desired.

My point is this, and it's not pop psychology: People need to stop being so sensitive. Racism isn't the unpardonable sin and I fail to recognize how hating someone for their skin color is any worse than hating them for any other reason. It's just PC and PC is herd mentality without thought.

You said in your rant that you didn't care what i thought of you, your creed, etc. So why on earth do you care what some random person puts in a post about a car, even with racial tainting? It seems to me someone as enlightened as yourself would understand the human condition and give a crap when someone makes an off color remark.

I grow so weary of people policing other's into being PC, which is exactly what you seem to have done. Who cares if someone's a racist, it's not anyone else's business any more than it's someone else's business what their religion, eating habits, or excrement schedule is.
