2004.5 996 c4s cab or 2005 997 c2 cab
2004.5 996 c4s cab or 2005 997 c2 cab
Decisions, decisions...
What would you guys get?
Silver/blk 996 c4s cab with NAV,sport seats,Bose 18k miles or Blk/blk 997 c2 cab with chrono,Bose 17k miles.
The 997 seems to be in a bit better shape...
Which one will have better resale in 2-3 years?
Both cars around $52k
Thanks,
Vlad

I would think that the 997 will have the higher resale value an a couple of years, my guess would be by at least 10% - but the depreciation on either car is going to be considerable, so that 10% isn't going to be a huge number.
The bigger question is which car do you want and how much is that worth to you?
Life is unpredictable and nobody's getting out of here alive. Get what you want.

Driven them both and I would go with the 997. The interior is much nicer and the overall ride stock, is improved. If I could find one , I would probably if I could find a 2005 997S in a similar price range. Another option for your budget would be a 996 Turbo.
