Mine looks like it is just stuck on but then again I did not go pulling on it. Good old braided fishing line should take it off or a hair dryer.

did some research on this this weekend...the "standard" batwing plastic piece is $8. The "911" one is $121. Keep in mind the only thing they added is that little plaque.

I guess that is because the only made 1963 of the 40th editions.
