I only work on weekends as this is just a part time thing for me. I work 30 hours a week in a marketing dept and go to school full time


I still require a faucet I can hook a hose up to and electricity along w/ shade. So at your home in your garage would be how I would prefer it.


If you are looking for someone that is fully independent and can come to your work, let me know where exactly you are located and I can pass you on to another detailer that will suit your needs

just checking if weekdays was a possibility,

i have a Question? will clay barring my car make a big difference on the finish? i have a whole bunch of swirls that i want to get rid of... can u tell me the benefits of usinga clay bar.. i like cleanning my cars, but i've never looked into hardcore, cleaning like this lol

also will u give me a deal if i get 2 cars done at the same time? or maybe even 3 if i can pursuade my sister to clay bar her car too lol.

will the clay bar make a difference in a silver car?

Clay bars won't make remove swirls, what it does is remove contamination. Sometimes you'll feel a panel and it's not smooth, that's because it has contamination on it. The clay bar will remove that. It acts as sort of a sand paper. For removing swirls you'll need to go over it w/ a good abbrassive polish, how abbrasive depends on how bad the swirls are. Clay barring is a very important tool though, if you don't do it, or a good polishing you are just trapping contaminents under the coating.


As far as deals go, yes i'll cut a deal on multiple cars, whether I can get them both done in one day really depends on how much care they need. I did 2 beat up accords the other weekend and it was hell for me. Took me about 10 hours and I was just beat, I wouldn't like to do that again. But those cars required some heavy interior cleaning, which is something I really don't like to do. I'll do some spot cleaning and scrub out matts, but I don't have an extractor so I can't do full interior shampoos. I'll also condition leather if it needs it. But as I said, interiors aren't my favorite. I like doing paint work, it's like an art form to me. I'll smile throughout the whole process

I helped a friend detail a 1965 Bentley last night that is entering the Irvine Concours show this weekend, man was that fun, I'll post some pics up later!

Definately, the polishing is my favorite thing to do as that brings about the most change. It's also great at removing imperfections, scratches and such that haven't gone through the paint down to the metal


I really wish I had pictures of the accords I did but I had forgot to bring my digi camera, but the owner would always put his briefcase on trunk of one of them and it was riddled w/ scratches and I was able to make it look brand new.


I do notice you have an audi, audi paint is EXTREMELY hard and I don't have the right tools to remove deep scratches from it (ones short of the bare paint). It's just to hard and the tools I have don't have an effect on it. Only thing that does is a rotary w/ a cutting pad and I'm not comfortable w/ that yet to be willing to use it on a customers car.

Here is an A4 I did last wekeend though, spent roughly 3 hours on the paint Went over w/ a good abbrasive polish, then followed up w/ a good glaze and topped it w/ megs NXT tech wax






these were the waterspots on the car, they had been on there for 2 months and wouldn't come off w/ a clay bar and a washing, but the polish removed them

how bout mercedes? if i do the detail it would probabaly be the 996, the clk, and my sister's c320 are mercedes easier to be worked on?

Haven't worked on an MBZ, but I havne't heard that their paint is hard. I can still polish the audi up good, but just won't be able to completely remove the deep surface scratches. The light ones should go w/ no problem. I love porsche paint, it's pretty soft and easy to polish out, although i've only worked on silver and white as far as porsche goes, but the clears were pretty soft.


What colors are the other cars?

the clk is silver & the c320 is burgundy and my 996 is lapis blue

Here in dirty Jersey, i'll be letting mine sit for a few months over the winter (garaged), should I do the detail before I put her down or when I unveil her in the spring? Also what about a car cover, are they recommended or will it trap moisture?

I'm not sure on a car cover back there, I don't see it being a problem, I'd think it'd be a smart idea.

It doesn't get below the 60's out here
