If I ever order a new Porsche, it would be Mexico blue (or the slightly lighter Gulf Blue).

I would call that baby blue. If you ever order one new, good luck come resale time.

The best think one can do is probably buy a silver car and then have it entirely wrapped with vinyl of the color you'd like. It acts like a clear bra for the entire car (and it's not clear ;-) . When you're sick of the color, remove it and get a different one. Your original paint will be pristine.

I've heard it is ~$4K to have the job done professionally and nobody will ever know it's wrapped...

Thoughts?
