GMP Performance website quick question
GMP Performance website quick question
Greetings all. This might seem a silly question, but is the GMP Performance site "OK?" The reason I ask is that I was just going to look up a part and I got a message "Reported Attack Site" and was blocked by Google. I have never had this message before, and was just wondering if any of you had seen it.
I do not want to hurt the image of a good company, but the warning is a first for me. Thanks.

I'm not having any trouble...your security settings might be blocking a cookie from them...try this link...

I get the same warning (when I visit with Firefox).
Here is what the Google advisory says:
"Of the 4 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 3 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2009-01-20, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2009-01-17."
So if you visited the site with an insecure browser like IE, you might want to run virus / spyware scan.
Just a note... this doesn't mean that the site itself is the one injecting malicious code. It is more likely a third party is using an exploit to do it. It would probably be a decent idea to warn the company that Google/Firefox is flagging the site.

I am sure GMP will have it fixed--might scare off a customer or two.
