turbo deck on a narrow body

So who out there knows if a turbo deck from a 996 can be retro fitted on a narrow body 996!

Waaayy better choices to be had anyways. IMO the only ones that look good are on the newer 997's

Not the same size so no need bang head on wall
There are after market turbo style deck lids made to fit a N/B for those who like the look

It can be done but it's way too much work. I think there is a write up at renntech. MA Shaw sells one that fits but the blade must be locked in the up or down position.
