Question: GT3 Center Rad Install

Hi there,

I've seen the DIY on renntech, but I'm wondering if anyone has done this without the out of the box installation.

I've found the radiator alone for $180 and what gets the price up to $500 real quick is all the mounting brackets, bushings, nuts/bolts, etc, etc.

I'm looking to use this as an intercooler on a TPC kit so I don't need to plumb it into the OEM cooling system.

Cheers
Aaron

so you have the air/liquid intercooler in the engine compartment? You also need a reservoir to hold coolant and a way fill it.... and dont forget the liquid pump.

Interesting. Can you explain/show me examples of what you used for a reservoir, pump, and the installation? I didn't see anything make mention of this in the installation documentation.

Cheers

Im really not familiar with the tpc kit... but the VF kit use what I mentioned above. If you are gonna use the 3rd raidiator (what VF use)... you need a place to store the coolant, and a pump to circulate the coolant between the 3rd radiator and the intercooler... On the VF kit, the reservoir is mounted at the front bumper...

Ahhh ok. I'll touch base with TPC and see what they say.

Cheers
