Yes, I did make the mistake of buying the 9/12 set up for DD and i REGRETTED the purchase for DD in Germany. The set up proved to be less then optimal for Nurburgring as well. The track has too many less than perfect curves and straights. My C4s skippped sideways with the 9/12 spring rates in several critical corners. The 9kg front rates has made the car loose the bump steer on the autobahn. Can't wait to replace the 12KG with the 10KG in the rear.

It was all due to the springs? Did you increase the rebound? I find this to help with deflection/bouncing on uneven surfaces.

JIC are not great on bumpy tracks at all, and I would expect are downright scary on a track like the nurburgring. Softer springs are only going to require you to run more stiffness to prevent body roll and therefore make it just as bumpy.

I have only changed the springs so far after I get the rear springs in I'll do the dialing in and report back.

I believe that you are correct but at least they are easy to adjust. With the 7kgs springs in front the ride can now be adjusted to a very acceptable comfort level.

Once I got mine adjusted and set up properly, the lower rate 7/10's are perfect for me and the car handles great.

I'm not trying to set any time trial records........
