Mike? Do you still have the Targa? I've got a Boxster S and am considering getting a Targa - I'd buy you lunch at the Roanoke (I'm on Mercer Island as well) in exchange for a ride.

My previous fun car was a modified SC430 - loved the folding hardtop, disliked the lack of sportiness - and I'm pretty happy with the Boxster S. But my wife won't drive a stick, switching to a Boxster with a Tip seems disappointing, neither of us like the 996/997 cabs, and I don't really want a Turbo. So...I'm hoping that a Targa Tip might be a reasonable all around compromise.

Mike sent me a PM and I'm looking forward to a ride on the streets around here (which are truly mediocre) so if it's the happy median I'm hoping for.
