Does a 996 Turbo wing 2002 fit a 996 Targa narrow body 2002

I am considering putting a factory 996 turbo tail 996 2002 on a 996 targa 2002. Does the lid fit on the 996 targa... and what about the wiring harness?

Anything is possible with modification- but for direct bolt on, I do not believe so on an '02. There is an old thread- use the search function- you should find it. for actual fitment: the width is the same but the length is about 2" longer for the turbo wing/lid. I think the turbo and C4S have a thinner (between the window and decklid) rear wiper cowl than a standard NB C2.. This thinner cowl is available from Pelicanparts for $140.25 +s/h and is item number:99650321101GRV. I looked into doing this but gave up on the project and leaning towards a different set up. the cowl is where the 2" difference is. for a MKI Narrow Body 996, I can conclusively say that a turbo spoiler will not fit (without modification). I tried- I am selling said Arctic Silver turbo decklid/spoiler over in the marketplace should you want to give it a shot- if you were to change out the cowl and hinge to "fit" the body, the engine airbox needs to be modified to accommodate the hydraulic lifters on each side.-there is also a thread on that as well- good luck with your search.. I am looking to the aftermarket world for my upgrade.. check out MASHAW, MISHA, precisionporsche and a few other site sponsors.

It WILL NOT FIT..there has been many threads on this. Try a search. If you want the look; save the time, cost and headache and get an aftermarket "turbo look setup". Hope that helps..

I believe you can find them here---> http://www.mashaw.com/html/product_info.html
