C4S vs Deer

It was only a matter of time, but I finally collided with a deer during a rain storm. Someone in the opposite lane hit the deer first, then it came over to my lane and I literally ran over the poor thing. Thank goodness it was on it's side. All the damage is to the left front bumper and left rocker panel. The radiators and all the duct work is history also. My car was actually in the air after the front wheels hit the deer.

Do you think that I toasted some of the front suspension, control arms, etc... ? I drove it home and only detected a slight vibration from the front end. State farm assessed the damage at only $3600. Seems kind of low to me. They did leave the claim open. Any suggestions? Do I trust the dealer locally to farm the work out (Princeton) or do I go with one of the local body places? Can they handle replacing radiators, condensors, etc..?

Thanks

Angry Sorry to hear ...

about your accident with the deer. We have quite a few around here where I live and I have been fortunate at least twice with my PSE actually alerting and scaring the deer into running the opposite direction (while coming around a curve).

I would find out through your dealer, friends you trust who they would take their high end sports car to ... for my wife and I it was a Mercedes collision center when she was hit from behind earlier this year. The other insurer actually authorized the higher labor rate due to the Porsche. Let us know how things turn out. Good Luck!
