No the signals aren't visible!! That's why I'm modding some!! And as for rock chips! It's has 7 layers of ppg clear! So! If i do happen to hit something that hard I'll prolly need to repaint anyways!! I've learn not to worry about little things like that!

No turn signal presents some problems, like getting someone attention when your turning. What do you tell the insurance company after?.

I take it you haven't read the rest of the comments, cuz then you'd now I'm now using my side markers as signal lights!!! But it's ok!! Some people just like to make rude comments!

Not crazy about the look either, maybe looks better in person, just being honest.

As for preventing stone chips on the paint, what about putting 3m clear bra over the painted lights?

Sorry, but I did read the comments, and side markers, if I remember right? shine to the side. What do you use in front to alert the opposing traffic?.

No problem, were here to share ideas and help eachother out. Those pics look better.
Did you template the actual proportion of the 997 lights? One other thing which may bring you closer to the look you are going for is a turbo front bumper, it has a flater face, closer to the 997 bumper and less bow. Just dont put on a 997 replica bumper, that will just ruin everything. That is part of the reason why I belive a 996 should look like a 996 no matter what year it is. I cringe when I see pics of bastardized cars.

P.s> the head on shot looks best, with the lit's on I'm starting to like it.

You can view the side markers very easily from the front of the car! stand directly in front of your car and you'll see what im talking about!
