Hi, I bought a pair of 996 sport seats with silver painted back.
I currently have full power seats w/ memory, and the sport ones are electric on just the back, not the lower part.

Do I need different harness? will the memo function still work??

had the same Problem with my sportseats last week.
i took them to a Recaro dealer and he checked all alternatives. Now i will install them without any changes cause i never change my seat position anyway. I think the memory function will be off after install them.
The thing is those sport seat came only with the electric back ajustment because of the weight !! my original seat with all electrik stuff weights much more than the sport seat. The recaro dealer took the plastik back off the sport seat and now i will color them shiny black. Will post some pics when finished.

From what I know, memory was/is not available with the sport seats. Mine came from the factory and do NOT have memory.

I've never had mine out of the car. Do you know what they weigh in comparison to a GT3 seat?
