just asking around for some ideas?
i recently checked out 2000 c2 and the seller was saying it was on gt3 pccb, and gt3 suspension, im just a nb dont know if it was real, just on the lookout for some 996 c2 i could use daily and track maybe 6-10 times in a year, plus all the out of town trips in between. in reality id like to have a gt3 but coz i also need it as my dd it would be foolish for me to dd a gt3, both the car price and engine wear and tear would be high in my books as a dailydriver in traffic and potholes, so im more likely to find the best c2 i can find and just upgrade/update the sus,brakes,diff to make it a better driver than its stock stuff. hope for some help
1. would it be possible to take parts from a written off gt3 and put them in a reg. carrera2?
2.is the cost of gt3 suspension and brakes significantly more than just getting aftermarket coilovers and brake package?
3.if its true that you can put gt3 pccb on c2 , after the life of the carbcera disk can you still use the calipers and just buy steel or other disks?
4.if the 99 has lsd from the factory , is the factory lsd any good? or is it better to get a aftermarket one?
5. can you put a 965 3.6 turbo engine in a 996 c2 or c4 shell?
