Offset Confirmation for New 996 Owner
Offset Confirmation for New 996 Owner
As you can see by my signature - I am not a new porsche owner, however, as of Saturday in Hershey I am now a 996 owner. As I navigate to get up to speed (no pun intended) on the intricacies of this Porsche, I have an offset question. I have Euromeister 18" on my 951 that I would like to move to the 996. In 944 land it has an early offset that required hubcentric adaptors of 21mm and 28mm. Info on rims is:
52mm front
63 mm in rear
The 996 is a 2001 carrera and currently has OEM 17" - if I understand the posts I have read, the offset for OEM 18" was 50 mm and 65 mm. Is my understanding correct that I am 2 mm off and will likely not need spacers?
Also - any issue with running 18 x 8.5 225/40 in front and 18 x 10 265/35 in rear?
Thanks -
J
