I'm not sure where you got those weights. They look low. My 996 weighs 3145 w/ 3/4 tank of gas and the spare still in place. I've tried to cut weight in several places. Regardless, even using your figures, the TT has a much better HP/wt ratio. The increased power really will overcome the weight. Plus, you get the AWD. Go turbo, wish I did....

I'm not sure those weights are 100% accurate. It took quite a bit of hunting to find them and I basically pulled them from various sites.

When you say go turbo is it because your car feels under powered? The turbos are nice but my background has been lightweight cars. I truly love my Lotus but happy wife happy life.... I test drove a few 996/997 last week and I felt like I was in a boat in comparison. However, the power was great in comparison to my 4 banger

I wish the GT3 was 10g less then I would be all set. I just don't want to spend that much for a weekend fun car plus track car on occasion.
