white smoke...
My cars been blowing white smoke every morning when I start it up for the first time....should I be concerned? It didnt do this up in Norcal. Could it be related to my driving style/conditon down here? Average up there-30 to 50 around town. Down here- 50 to 70mph
White smoke at startup is not a concern
A little oil can collect in a cylinder of a Boxter engine at rest when the ring gaps on the pistons get close to lining up. This will cause the oil to burn out when you start up the car. My 02 Cab has done this on and off for 3 years. I might go months without any smoke at startup, and then after a long drive, it will blow smoke every time at startup for a week. Don't worry, sooner or later it will stop.
