performance upgrade c2 help me????

hi everyone,

i have a carrera 2 2002 3.6 320bhp, i looking at performance upgrades, im in the uk, i have not done anything yet thinking about getting a ecu remap which been told adds 18-20bhp and is around 300-400 gb pounds,

does anyone have any advice? id like to get it dyno after aswell, i have been looking at exhausts and air filters but i dont want the car to be anylouder exhaust whise, i dont mind a roar suck from filter

Search the forum and you will find many answers. Not far down page 1, there is an ongoing disucssion of the Giac and Evoms ecu program. There many threads about these other mods also: exhaust, cold air intake, plenum, supercharging.
Jump on in with your first mod and you will be hooked!

Mods are like drugs- you never get your last fix before you want your next fix!

Cold Air is a pretty inexpensive way to start, although folks disagree on whether it does anything meaningful. I did one on both my 996 and my 986-s, and thought them worthwhile.
