Is there an adjustment for for the door seals (where the windows goes up and down)
or is it just the seals going bad and making it harder to roll down the window?

I am trying to come up with an easy fix rather than spend 1000 for window seals.

It only happens in hot weather.

 

i think they make a window seal grease, my friend does it to his H1 every year

 

there is a recent thread on this on renntech.org.
sounds like there is a dry lube, and a 'window wax' product for this purpose.
