tip tranny oil change....

where can I find a laundry list of items I need to order for a tip oil change?

Im planing on having my trusty mechanic do this for me. He isnt a Porsche guy (not too many pcars around my area) but German imports are 70% of his business. Do you think thats a bad idea? is a tranny oil change on a pcar much different then it is on a bmw/benz/vw/audi etc?

thanks

rfan996 is infamous around these parts
I know about from when i had my audi a8. It is the same procedure as the audi automatic transmission. the fluid needs to be a certain temp (around 37 degrees celsius) and using a special tool.

I found the fluid for my 2000 Tip at Bavarian Autosport. Don't remember exactly what it is, something like ESSO... Porsche dealer wanted an outrageous amount. 1 qt was $8? from Bavauto.com. Ended up lettting the dealer change it anyway

I think it was actually a 1 L bottle. If I remember correctly from from the DIY on Renntech something like 7.5 to 9 L. I think it's hard to get all of it out of the torque converter thus the lesser amount.
