Does anyone know how to access and remove the divers side, rear power window mechanism on a 2001 Cabriolet. I can hear some grinding when I try to raise or lower it. I am thinking there are some gears within the mechanism that need to be replaced. Currently it is frozen in place. I have removed the window itself, however, the mechanism that moves the window appears to be very hard to get to.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated!!

 

It's your window regulator. Suncoast has them for around $180.
