Evoms intake dry or oiled filter?

Put one on my 996 and have to say I like the sound, 10-12 HP is not going to be felt so i will not go there... I do have 1 question dry or oiled filter?? The dry one needs a sock and I here that is restrictive the oiled one has fouled maf sensors? What is everyone running? I always thought the oil caught more particles if done right, but the idea of never oiling with a dry filter is also nice. Any input would be appreciated.

You dont not want to run the oiled one unless you want to buy new mafs. If you use an oiled one wipe it down and then wipe in down some more.
If you go talk with the turbo people they use stock because the HP claims are just that, Claims.
From what I have read is you get a little more sound.

Oil does not damage the MAF and a properly oiled filter does not effect MAF sensitivity or operation.

John L is infamous around these parts
I have an BMC oiled filter in the box and have had the same one for 5 years, I clean it once a year with K&N filter cleaner and water, and then re-oil it with K&N fiklter oil, (the spray and drip are about the same), then I let it soak in completely for several hours in sunlight and when its a smooth even pink drop it back in...usually done while detailing the car or doing some mod, I love it, it traps a lot of dirt and dust down here in Texas
