Chain Tensioners on a 02 C4S???

After tracking my car recently, I noticed a "ticking" sound coming from the engine area. At first it sounded like a loose muffler bracket or something similar. But the sounds goes away when I rev the engine higher...then at idle..same noise. The sound is not loud, but it is noticeable...just doesn't have the tight sound. The car runs strong and otherwise has no issues. Car has 30K miles, but had a reman engine around 25K; use 0W-40; etc. I had a 71 911T that required new chain tensioners...but haven't heard anything before on a 996...any ideas would be appreciated? If you've had to do your chain tensioners..what cost is that?! Thanks
