Those are the D2s.........possibly PowerBulbs is the only source for the H6Ws at this time.

Hey guys, I went with the PIAA H3 Super Plasma 55W from CarDomain.com and it looks great! The Super Plasma burns a little hotter than the Xtreme White, 5000K vs. 4150K and looks very close to the HID bulbs.

I guess it's good to mention that the stock light is rated at 55W. There is a 85W Xtream White but it might burn out the 25amp fuse. I also ordered the small running lights from the UK but have not taken delivery yet.

Thanks for the idea! The lights look so much better now!

No problem! I never ceases to amaze me how Porsche misses small details like this... as far as their performance though "there is no substitute"

Still waiting on my order from the UK, should probably arrive this week.

Dave.

Looks like PIAA does make a H.I.D. H11 but it's not available in the US but can be ordered here:

http://www.xtremewhite.com/ORD-Light...88-1-1-1-1.cfm

What do you guys think?

The problem with those bulbs is the blue coating, which will cause a blue shadow on the headlight reflector when unlit (can you say rice... ).

Hoen makes a H11 bulb that is similar (http://www.hoen-usa.com/fog.htm), and 30% of the price, but I didn't like the blue shadow, so I put back the stock bulbs.

I'd stay w/ OE wattage........also because of the heat......I've heard of 'meltdowns'........not a pretty site

OK...so I just received the PIAA Xtreme White Plus H3's (4000K - 110W) to replace the 55W H3's that come with the fog lights. But do I now hear that the 100W might be too much for the 25 amp fuse ? Has anybody had the 100W installed for awhile without any problems? Is there any potential downside here besides blowing the fuse?

Thanks!
