Question brake dust stains?

Not sure if anybody has this problem.. but i bought my car used and when washing it noticed what i assumed to be brake dust stains on the wheels... anybody else have this problem, or are those stains from something else?

It seems like the previous owner got the wheels really dirty, then sprayed it with with a water hose, then walked away and let it bake in the sun. You can see drip marks/patterns on the spokes.. *sigh*

You'll just have to spent the whole day or so to get them clean and Rejexed. If the previous owner had Rejexed them, you wouldn't be having this problem. I put two coats on every six months and only need to wash them with regular car soap after that.

Take it to the pro clean it for you. They have some kind of wheel cleaner to clean and they will lub your wheels again. After that you can do it yourself again.

Try some aggressive wheel cleaner such as P21S or Zymol and start scrubbing. After getting the wheel clean and dry, apply a coat of wax or sealent to prevent this from happening again. Hope this helps.

P21S (Make Sure to Use the Right Brush) + Lots of Scrubbing, and the the stains will disappear. Make sure to follow up the cleaning with a good wax or sealer.
