thanks guys.......yeah i've seen quite a few and they never look quite right....especially the fibre glass kits.......I'm over the moon the way it turned out.....every gap is perfect....the lines of the front to rear fenders is amazing......the new offset on the rear wheels make the rear look a lot wider and meaner......happy days all round :-)

The wheels are a copy version of the 997 gt3 wheels......8.5j et53 front and 10j et45 rear......I refurbed the wheel bolts and used the original bolts.
These wheels alone transformed the car......the rears sit just a fraction inside the rear fender giving it a very agressive look and making the rear look a lot wider and a lot more modern.
Even though the 3.8s engine has won many awards for being the best engine currently available.....I'm gonna put me a 510bhp 996TT engine in my car.......it's going to be crazy!

that's because it is a 996 at the end of the day......and I won't pretend it is anything but....I won't be putting 997 badges on it or GT3 badges on it because that's not what it is..........I love the rear end of the GT3 aero with the small flares and I think the 997 GT3 front end is the best looking front end of any car ever made.....so I have created the best looking car on the planet for what I like.....my taste....won't be to everyones liking.....but it certainly is to mine......the car looked great before...a mint gt3 aero 996....but now it looks like something very special.......has that serious wow factor!
I haven't worked out the total cost of the conversion.....probably too scared to!
