Question on Flash's for another MAF

Guys when AWE GIAC, FVD, EVO etc....do these Flash's do they also increase the expansion size/range for the DME? Thus allowing more range for the MAF Sensor? My dealer is telling me that because I own the EVOMS cold air intake the reason I go thru MAFSensors so often approx 1-2 every 24mos is that the DME Range is altered and the change in Airflow due to the EVOMS or any aftermkt cold air intake, eventually will kill every new Sensor over time. The OEM intake is designed for the stock DME range the aftermkt must have a flash to solve this problem. In fact they go so far to say that every new MAF installed is taxing the ECU meaning the ECU is trying to compensate for the EVOMS air and over time will give a CEL guaranteed.
This is not because of a reoiled filter - I am using the original with only 1500 miles on it.
Tired of this, what is the real answer here? Does EVOMS have a Flash that solves this for their products?

When I called and questioned the Gt700 from EVO the guy told me they go with a Hiatchi MAF so it can handle the increased air flow and work with the Flash, he said the OEM MAF will fail over time??
