Need advice on wrong wheel offset

I purchased a set of Techarts recently and they were the wrong offset to fit on my narrow C2. It sticks out of the fender about 1/2 inch including the 295 Contis (N2). I actually don't mind the look. My question is, if I keep it on will it ruin anything underneath the car?

I already rolled the fenders (btw, did it myself with some tutorials from 6speedonline posts) and had cambers set to slightly aggressive...and going to replace the rear tires with 265s...all of which should prevent the tire from rubbing on the fender. I also have stock suspensions..not lowered.

what's up Lord. good to see u here

my best best suggestion is sell the wheel (they're not hard to sell) & start over again. no matter what u do it'll just be too aggressive.

Thanks Arling. I currently have it on the For Sale Forum. I don't have too much cash to add to get a new set so I'll probably look out for a nice used set with the right offset. I will talk to you soon about my suspensions also.

Don Relentless is infamous around these parts
defitnely start over. you can only shave about 3-5 mm off the hub of the wheel before it becomes too dangerous. i bet the wheels will sell quick for turbo/c4s owners.

Thanks for the advice...I'm definitely going to sell it and start over. I was thinking about the widebody conversion but then the alarm clock woke me up...and then I realised I can barely afford to keep the tank full.
