dirtiest i've ever gotten my porsche
I live in phoenix now, and found one of the greatest driving roads I've ever had the pleasure to run through. Tight windy mountain roads over looking canyons and lakes as far as the eye can see for miles and miles, uninterrupted by traffic, pedestrians, or stop signs.
BUT, i did not know that the pavement unexpectedly ends! right where it ends it turned into an even tighter one lane for 10 miles dirt road. I was so nervous to get a flat, but i did not, nor did i get stuck, and the 4wd was amazing in the loose sand. I couldnt be happier with this car, or the Hankook ventus V12 tires. They gripped great in the loose dirt and were surprisingly smooth too! She got so dirty up there that i blasted up once i hit pavement and a good amount of it blew off, but the whole car was caked with sand. I felt like i was back in iraq cleaning hmmwv's : )
It took quite a while getting her all cleaned up but it was worth it. here she is....

the whole care was caked like how that rear wheel looks.

and here she is being cleaned...

and the cleaned up engine bay

Stacy
you dint get to go in the City and enjoy the food? were you on the Base for the 2 days?
yea while in kuwait we werent allowed to leave for liberty purposes, we werent near anything anyway. I dont think 2 hours in the sand would clog up the filter though, i've done worse in other vehicles, ill shake it off though.
