Hey all,

I don't post much since I don't drive the 996 much, but I need new tires (6 years old).

I saw TireRack has TR Motorsports wheels for a C2 on closeout, and they're forged and look pretty good. With those wheels and a set of PS2's, I'm looking at $3k plus. My '03 only has 9200 miles on it and it sits most of the time.

Sorry for sounding confused - has anybody run these wheels before? I can't decide to freshen the look of a car I rarely drive - or not...

I'm not sure about the wheels. My guess is they are a private label for TR. Ask Damon - he's on this thread.
If you need tires anyway, go with some 19's and upgrade.
Then, you'll want to drive the car more.

 

Thanks mathism. Not a huge fan of 19"s. With my PSS9's I don't want the ride to get even harder, but I know they'd probably look better.

Damon, if you see this, any thoughts on those TR wheels?
