If the rims don't fit you must... (advice please)

Picked up a set of 997 rims. I ran it through the 1010tires offset calculator and after asking some other questions, things seemed like they should be okay.

The rims came off of a 997 Carrera and I have a 996 Carrera 4.

Original vs New:
Fronts: 7X17 ET55 -- 8X18 ET57 (225/45vs 235/40)
Rears: 9X17 ET55 -- 10X18 ET58 (245/40 vs 265/40) (I'm led to believe that it should have been 265/35)
What was interesting, was that the face of the rims said 8 and 57 (near the air plug) however inside the rim, it stated ET37.

Turns out that the rears fit but I'm having issues with the fronts.

The fronts are rubbing on the suspension. On the passenger side, it is rubbing without needing to turn the steering wheel. The driver's side is fine until the steering wheel is turned.

I have attached photos of where it is rubbing.

What are my options here? I can think of:
- Sell rims and find something else
- Spacers
- New suspension (I suppose coil-overs would be more appropriate versus new springs and struts which would re-use some of the existing suspension parts)

Your ideas/solutions are appreciated.

From the side view, it looks like they stick out of the fender way too much F and R. The best solution is to buy the wheels that are right for your car.
