I used to think those wheels belong on a Mitsubishi Evo or Subaru STi, but after seeing them on your car you've changed my mind, they look great on your 996! Congratulations!

I think it really depends on the car. I never liked how they looked in some BMWs and never considered them in my Z3 Coupe, but they really go along well with the 996. I did my research before I bought my set and I've seen pics of 996s and 997s with these wheels and they've become my inspiration. Those pics changed my mind as well. But the catch is that I had to make sure the rears are concave. I probably wouldn't have liked them as much when the rears are flat (like the fronts).

Hmmmm, I've never seen this thread when I was doing my research. I'll be glad to put some pics in that thread, though my name is not George

jr1966,

i sent the pics to Damon since I contacted him about these wheels.

can you post a pic to get a better look at the front offset? Did you have to roll your rear fender?

George

Oh I see, ok, and I was just wondering why he called me George.

As per your request, these couple of shots are the best i currently have that shows the front offset (disregard the experimental eye lids).

And, no, I didn't have to roll the rear fenders. The rear offset is just right. Actually, maybe 5mm spacers to push the rears out a bit may help but I don't find it necessary to add anything.

Wheels look great, definitely compliment a black vehicle. I think the aerokit will be a perfect addition.

Thanks! Already got the OEM bumper plus GT3Tek side skirts and rear valance. Next up is the OEM Aero Wing which is currently getting painted. Will post pics as soon as aero wing is installed.

Very suave and smooth looking Jr. How much attention do you get on the road now with all the mods on the car excluding the wing for now

If you don't mind, where did you order your black center caps from? I just got my OZ on and I need to order the center caps in black.

Thanks in advance!
