H&R Springs for a NB 996?

Does anyone have experience with these? I know everyone says to spend the money and get PSS9's, but I got a set of these with the car I bought and thinking about installing them. Any feedback regarding ride is appreciated. Also anyone with pick of what the drop looks like would be greatly appreciated as well! Anyone?

i have had them for a little while, and the ride is pretty much the same. a tad bit bouncy on some surfaces, but i think thats just my blown shocks. it lowers the car a decent amount and the car feels sharper during turn in.

I've had them for two years and I hate them. Ride quality sucks and the stock shocks are not matched to these springs. They lower the car, but that's about it. I didn't realize how bad they were until I installed Bilstien coilovers on my jacked up Toyota Tacoma. My truck has a better ride than my Porsche!

Lowering the car also throws off the suspension geometry. In order to properly lower the car you'll need to go with coilovers - such as PSS9s or similar - as well as instal a bump steer kit, rear dog bones and a toe link. You'll also need to do something about the toe adjustment in the front.

Lowering springs look cool, but the loss ride quality (especially on rough roads), poor handling, and the excessive tire wear make it a low end mod. If you plan on doing any kind of spirited driving spend the money on proper suspension components. It will be the best 5K you ever spend on your car. lowering springs are much cheaper, but you get what you pay for. I recently drove a 996 with PSS10s, and the other assorted bits I mentioned and the difference was night and day.

I had the lowering springs in the past, dont waste your money. I ended up going with pss9's. The ride is like night and day. I should have took my mechanics advise from the begining.

I replaced stock with the H&R front and rear sways a strut brace and H&R springs and a set of Bilstein Sport all around, wheel alignment and the car is incredable, what a difference this set up made, two different cars all together. I drive in Jersey and the roads are stupid and I have no problem with ride, wheel alignment decesions are made based on intended use and will make a difference in tire ware but there is a price for control. I am sure that the PSS9 or 10s are great also but I was not planning on making any adjustments so I decided to stick with a fixed setup. Just my opinion.
