WOW...I love the deep rumble at idle.

Robyn, I could see how they could become addictive.


After the install, I went out for a quickie just in time to beat the first snowfall.
It was a pleasure running through all the gears as my radio was drowned out by the deep growl.

All in all it was very simple to do, there are really no short cuts… just a little awkward reaching the 3 bolts but the average weekend wrencher could conquer this project in about 1 hour.

Time for the next mod…short throw shifter

Did you do the muffler bypass, the cat bypass pipes or both? I think the FabSpeed HiFlow Mufflers are a bit too quiet for my taste. Thanks.

 

aben8057, any chance I could hear your pipes sometime? Allways thought about it but ditched it because everyone seems to change their minds saying they're too loud! I could've picked them up cheap a couple of times for a couple hundred $ but passed. Thanks, Lincoln

Just the muffler bypass, I wanted to leave the cats on for future so I could quickly reinstall the OEM mufflers.
