Extended warranty for $4400. Yes/No?

I have a 01 996 that has been great as far as service.
The only items that went out when i had my extended warranty in the past was coolant reservoir. A year after my extended warranty ran out, the water pump went out.

The car now has 55k now without any warranty. I am using it as my daily driver now (i would say 8k / year). The extended warranty from EasyCare for 4yrs/48k miles with $250 deductible is around $4200.

I know these cars are pretty reliable if maintained.
Do you guys suggest I get the warranty?

(last time i paid $2800 for 3 yrs extended warranty with $100 deductibleand used it only once, and the repair was $1200)

Thanks.

Just hold on to the $4400 and enjoy your car. As you found from your last extended warranty, aside from some level of peace of mind, you came out way behind on the warranty cost.

Malakas is infamous around these parts
I agree.

I was faced with a similar dilemma over extending my EasyCare warranty, and I just thought it was too expensive. The deductibles add up too!

I just had all of my plugs and 2 coil packs changed by my indy. The cost was 325... barely more than my deductible would have been (if they would have covered the plugs too).
