Dumb Pirelli Tire Question
Dumb Pirelli Tire Question
Hey all. I just got a used set of Pirelli Rosso Zeros. Most tires I have ever purchased have not only an outer and innner marker but also a direction marker. I see none on these. What is the preferred way to mount these? Is there one? Please let me know if the "ZERO" should lead in the forward direction or the "P" should. I'd hate to get all 4 on just to realize I had the direction wrong.
TIA

inside in, outside out, they're not directional
I learned this recently, I swap them side to side to equalize track wear (track Pirellis as well as street ones, both sets of mine are asymmetricos, I don't have rossos yet). They're not directional, so just mount them so the outside of the wheel matches the side of the tire that says 'outside'.
Thanks. After pondering it for a while that seemed the only logical conclusion, since no matter how you mounted them one side was going to have the "P" leading and the other side the
"0".
