GT3 sways with PSS10

I am about to install GT3 sway bars and front adjustable drop links on my 1998 996 C2. Does anybody know:

i) How much shorter than the stock drop links should the adjustable one be with the GT3 front sway bar?

ii) Where can I find the torque settings for the GT3 sway bar and drop link fittings?

iii) What swaybar adjustment hole to use for the rear bar to obtain near neutral steering, assuming the middle hole is used for the front bar?

Thanks,
Bjarne

I did this on my 02 and used adjustable drop links. I would think a call to one of the shops would help with your length question.

You should just buy one that is made for your particular setup and usage. The typical short drop link that mounts to the pinch bolt is not the optimal solution if you are tracking the car. Tarett makes the appropriate mount for using longer drop links. There have also been some issues with the AP drop link.

Workshop manuals for your use are here:
http://www.cannell.co.uk/Manuals.htm
Group 4, Running Gear is the one you want. There is a section for torque values.

This depends on a host of factors including your alignment, tires, driving style, track, conditions, etc. You could start 1 from full stiff in the rear and adjust from there.

Bjarne
Answers above in red. Tarett [www.tarett.com] will have everything you need as far as sway bars go.

There have been a number of threads on this topic as well. If you don't find what you are looking for, feel free to post up again.
